Ante Natal and Young Mothers

Short video presentation and discussion topics include:

• Brushing techniques and flossing demonstrations.
• Demonstrations of various toothbrushes and dental products (why some are bad, and some are good)
• Toothpaste comparisons and why some work better than others.
• Saliva in the mouth as a super nutrient enhancing your oral health, as well as overall health.
• What to do when your child begins teething (emergence of the baby teeth)
• Dummies and finger sucking.
• Q&A time.

Daycare and Kindergarten

Brief talks about why it’s important to keep good oral hygiene. To help bring enjoyment to the sessions we use puppets and musical interludes, followed by active brushing sessions. Topics covered include the following:

• Why we have teeth.
• What we use teeth for.
• How to look after your teeth.
• Sample showbag of toothpaste, toothbrush and stickers to take home.
• Colour in workbook for follow up learning at home.
